Chapter 1.11 – Family Bonds

Family Bonds Portait

From the day Edward moved to Willow Creek, his dreams started coming true, as the family bonds he craved have now come to fruition. He had a loving wife, two rambunctious boys and a well-built family house. This was everything he could have asked for, but of course, there was still more to be done, as soon the house would need to be expanded on, as one day his sons would inherit the house and would need more space for their future families.

Family Bonds Playing in Leaves

William was just loving autumn, as it gave him so much more adventures to do in the garden. Playing in the leaf piles was definitely one of his favourites, as he use to pretend he was a warrior hunting in the wild and would use the leaf piles as a great place to hide. Of course, his parents loved it when he played his little warrior games as it was a great excuse for him to rake the garden for him to make the leaf piles.

Family Bonds Fishing

Edward couldn’t wait to take William out fishing, as fishing can be a solitary sport and so it was great to have the company of his son. Finally, someone to share his passion with and pass down his angler knowledge. William loved it though as fishing with his dad was really great fun, just another adventure for him, hoping to catch treasures in the river, and of course fish. These bonding fishing trips will definitely be remembered by Wiliam when he grows up, looking back on these days with fondness, as he teaches his future children the art of the angler.

Family Bonding

As the cold weather was rolling in, it was the perfect time to cosy up indoors more which was great for strengthening family bonds. Edward was always more than willing to help William with his school projects, just as much as Mary was very happy to read little George a story. The Kenway family loved to do activities together. “The family that plays together, stays together”.

Family Bonds Fathers Love

Edward never failed to show his sons how much he loved them and how he will always be there for them as much as he could. William and George will never know the pain their father went through as a child, Edward made sure of that.
