The big day was approaching, and fast. Edward and Mary were getting everything ready for their wedding day, which they could not wait for, and they were counting the days till they say their “I do’s”. Since they didn’t know many people in town, and of course a lack of funds, they knew they were going to have a small close-knit wedding on a budget. A small wedding was actually perfect for them, as they were not flashy people, and they wanted a wedding that reflected their down to earth style and personalities.
Finally, the big day had come, for Edward and Mary to get married, to come together as one. It was a beautiful day for a wedding, it was a cool day in Spring, with clear blue skies, and was held in the beautiful gardens at the Von Haunt Estate. Mary looked beautiful in her vintage white gown, and Edward looked handsome in his classic black suit. Edward felt like he was the happiest man in the world, as he never thought he would have found someone he loved so soon as he did, especially in a new country.
The guests looked on with happiness in their hearts seeing the union of two beautiful souls, with the Goth family being their only main friends. Both Edward and Mary felt sadness in their hearts that their immediate family were not there to witness their marriage, but this was not a day of sadness but one of happiness and love, as they knew they were starting their own new family.
And just like that, they were married, they were now Mr and Mrs Kenway. They celebrated at the local lounge, which is a frequent location that they visit and knew most of the local attendees and is also the place where they first met, so what better place to celebrate than the Blue Velvet. Everyone was so happy for the new couple, for them to now start their life together, and soon a little family.
