After Edward and Mary got married, changes had to be made to the Kenway house, and after some time their little humble abode was complete. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open plan kitchen connected to the lounge. The house was just perfect for the young couple wanting to grow. And with the extra bedroom, they were now ready to not only expand the house, but also the family.
They didn’t have to wait long to expand the family, as Mary soon found out that she was expecting a little bundle of joy. Mary couldn’t wait to tell Edward the big news, and when she told him, he was so happy, as he couldn’t wait to be a dad. He was already imagining all the fun and exciting things that he was going to do with his son or daughter, and Mary already had all the name options picked out. A little Kenway was on the way in this humble abode.
Some time had passed, and Mary’s pregnancy was going pretty well so far. Mary had started nesting the day she found out she was pregnant, excited to get everything ready for when the baby arrives. She was born to be a mother, and now is her time to finally able to be one. They had prepared a little bassinet in the spare room, ready for the day. The day was approaching for Mary to give birth, but she was all ready to go, probably a little too overly ready, if you ask Edward.
Edward sat down one night with Mary, feeling the little baby kicks in her belly, having a sweet little conversation about all the things he wants to do and how much he can’t wait to meet them. Mary and Edward also started to have a conversation about what kind of parents they wanted to be, talking about the childhoods they had and what they would want to do the same and what to do differently. Especially with Edward, coming from the broken home he came from. He vowed that he would never be like his father, that he would always let his children know that they were loved. Mary could see that pain in Edward from his past, and so she vowed to him that she would always let him know that he too is loved.
