The world of Tomarang that comes with The Sims 4: For Rent is a delightful digital take on Southeast Asia, a region new to the game, that explores plenty of cultural staples from the area. Amid new cuisines, clothing, and aspirations, though, is a vibrant Night Market just waiting to be explored.
The Sims 4: For Rent – How To Complete The Five Star Property Owner Aspiration
It’s not enough for your Sim to own properties – they want to be the best landlord they can possibly be.
Open every night, the Night Market in the Morensong neighborhood is an excellent place to get a taste of the very best of what Tomarang has to offer. Grab a bite to eat, stock up on ingredients to use back home, or grab some of the local clothing.
Night Market Overview
Hours And Location
The Night Market is a delightfully colorful addition in The Sims 4: For Rent, added in with the Southeast Asian world of Tomarang. And popular in that region of the real world are outdoor markets, just like the Night Market in Tomarang.
Located in the Morensong neighborhood of the world of Tomarang, with a relatively open-world concept, you can get to the Night Market from any lot in Morensong.
You can even see the Night Market stalls in southern Morensong from the travel menu in Tomarang. To get there, choose a lot in Morensong to travel to (the ZoSul Taman Botani National Park is a close, public lot choice).
Once you arrive, zoom out and pan around to explore the neighborhood and you’ll find several colorful stalls lining the streets of the southern section of Morensong, but you’ll notice that, as you may suspect with the name, the stalls are only open at night.
The Market itself comes to life beginning at 6PM each night, and the stalls will remain open until 2AM (though the vendors are occasionally late, and won’t start selling until they’re physically behind their stall table).
If you have the Seasons expansion pack installed, rain does not seem to effect the hours of the Night Market.
What Can You Find At The Night Market?
There are plenty of cool, regional attractions at the Tomarang Night Market in The Sims 4: For Rent!
Though each of the stalls at the Night Market are cosmetically loaded with goods, only certain stalls are actually functional as a marketplace. Stalls with Sims working at them are actual, usable stalls.
The offerings at the Night Market are different between stalls, with several stalls offering a wide variety of goods in one place, though most of them are food-related.
Some offer a full menu of Southeast Asian-inspired street food for your Sims to munch on as they walk. Others, meanwhile, have regional goods like groceries, clothing, marbles, tassels, and more.
Overall, the Night Market is a central location in Tomarang to mingle and experience Tomarani culture at its finest (and brightest)!
