The Sims 4 expansion packs cut price as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor down to just £42 in EA’s Amazon sale

EA have launched a huge sale on their video games for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days with loads of titles – including Star Wars – knocking loads of pounds off the asking price. On both ends of the spectrum, there’s Sims 4 expansion packs and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor all cut price.

The Sims and expansion packs have been synonymous since the first game came out, but with more recent ones they’ve focused on smaller DLC packages. While this allows you greater (and cheaper) ability to customise your experience, it can add up if you want it. However, if you’re a Prime Member, loads of these are discounted, including The Sims 4 Seasons expansion pack, which is down to £17.49 from its original £34.99 (also the price of buying it off Steam).

One of the most highly rated of The Sims 4 expansions at 4.5 from 1,898 reviews, this allows you to control your Sims through every single season. This changes the way things look as time passes, celebrate holidays and also boosts your garden options.

One happy reviewer said: “Nice idea and mini Targets to reach your Restaurant or Cocktail bar to a 5 star. Less items and furniture like on the Vet clinic pack. Was keeping my daughter occupied for maybe 3 weeks during summer holidays.” However, a more mixed reviewer said: “You don’t get that much for your money in this like you did in sims 3, very happy I got it on sale rather than paying £35 for what is essentially a game pack rather than an expansion.”

The game was only released this year and normally costs £59.99, which is how much it costs on Steam. The sequel follows Jedi Cal Kestis as he struggles to stay alive during the age of the Empire, who butchered the other Jedi during Star Wars Episode III. Think Mass Effect style planetary exploration with a Dark Souls gameplay. It currently sits at an 85 out of 100 on Metacritic.

The Dead Space remake is also on sale, coming down to £35.99 from its original £59.99. On Steam, it costs £49.99. Dead Space is a survival horror game, originally a small-scale darling, its been transformed for the current gen with an updated story, updated gameplay and a voice actor for leading man Isaac.

It’s Alien-esque as Isaac struggles to survive in space against the deadly Necromorph threat. It has a very strong 89 out of 100 on Metacritic.
